What a great day! I´m so stoked now, sleeping does not tempt me at all.
Since me and my little brother are alone at home for the moment, we decided to do something a little different than what we usually do; mountainbiking.
Since I work at a store where we sell kayaks, we could just borrow two of our rental ones, and go for a ride. We drove out to a small beach outside town, and paddled up the river downtown and back again. On our way back we met some really big waves, and I really got to challenge my fear of the water. Somehow, I hate the idea of getting underneath the surface, since I have difficulties holding my breat underwater. But it all went OK, my brother (of course) felt a lot more confident, so he helped me out a lot.
After we had delivered the kayaks at work, we drove home, took a shower and ate dinner while watching Tour de France on the telly. I was so exhausted that I fell a sleep on the couch. Since I was already on a mission with challenging my fears, we went climbing with Bjørnar from work in the evening. He is an educated climbing instructor, so it was a great experience, he was so patient, and showed us a lot of techniques and safety manners. It was kick-ass fun, I climbed six different routes, and all the way to the top several times!
To sum it all up, one of the greatest days that I´ve had lately, it´s just one of those days that gives you refill of good energy to start on a new exhausting week.
And it was so good to spend time with my brother, we´ve been connecting really good the last year, I feel.
Have a good, new week!
