Man, what a day. Day of contradictions or something, I don´t know. Somehow I´ve managed to get sick again, after feeling good for about two days, top. It sucks. Now is the time were I´m supposed to be out riding my bike feeling superfit, and I´m stuck inside.
On the other hand though, this day has been great. Went to work, which sucked, being in the shape I´m in, but then this customer came in, asking some questions about surfing gear. Couldn´t help him out though, because we don´t stock that kind of gear, but I helped him look up a webshop. We just went on talking, and it appeared he was from Vancouver, Canada. Since there was nearly no customers at all in the shop, we just talked for like 45 minutes or something, it was really fun to just discuss topics like economy, taxes, cars, mountainbiking, differences between our countries and so on.
He seemed like such a great guy, so I asked if I could take his picture, and he said yes. Got his email adress, so hopefully we´ll hook up during the summer and I´ll take his portrait, and perhaps even some windsurfing pictures, that would be so awesome!
When I finally got off work, I went home for some dinner, then to the studio to shoot some pictures of Åse. She is working on her bachelor in music, playing the violin, so she needed some pictures. It felt like some of a challenge, since I have no relations to that instrument what so ever, but I think challenge is good, so I took on the task.

Shooting Åse was an amazing experience. Since she´d not been that much in front of the camera before, I just told her to start playing, and…what can I say, it was so beautiful I almost started crying. The tones she played with that instrument was just captivating.

Haven´t had the time to process the pictures properly yet, but here´s a edit just to show you some of it.
Tomorrow is Norway´s national day. Yuhu, partey… Not really, just breakfast with my family, perhaps a ride if I feel good, and then barbeque and volleyball in the evening.

I feel lucky and priveliged, meeting the two people I met today, and get the opportunity to take their picture. Thank you !
